#2 - HOW TO EXPAND YOUR RHYTHM VOCABULARY

One of the most effective ways to expand your rhythm vocabulary in Brazilian music is to learn Choro melodies and rhythms, with proper articulation, and incorporate them into your playing. By using the concept of singing and clapping these rhythms, you can internalize them faster, with the advantage of applying them to any instrument. In this video, I demonstrate step-by-step how to do this, with a historical overview of Choro, Brazil's first independent music, which originated in Rio de Janeiro.
